Kylemore Street is shaped like a very narrow horseshoe shaped street off of Rine Ridge. At the very tip (between 11 and 13 Kylemore) there is a hidden trail into the woods. Follow the trail, and you find an abandoned railway line. Turn right on the straight as an arrow trail, and in a short distance, you find the famous stone arch of Westford. It was build without any mortar, and stands over 60 feet high. The arch now sits in a bird sanctuary.
There are many paths to the stone arch. This is my favorite because it seems as though you go right behind a curtain. One second you are in a community of half million dollar homes. The next second you are in some quiet woods. The illusion works best if no one is mowing the lawn.
The journey starts to the left of the electrical and telephone boxes.
The path leading to the abondoned tracks. Turn right on the tracks.
In the old days, the locals called this "The Red Line" as joke (the railroad was always
"in the red" -- losing money).
