The Raised Dot Computing Newsletters

The Raised Dot Computing Newsletters were an important information vehicle in the early years of Raised Dot Computing. These newsletters covered a very broad range of subjects. Since so many products for the blind were reviewed or described, these files are an important history of this era.

We invite you to look at the complete collection of Newsletters. These were converted from a stack of 5.25 inch Apple II floppy disks into html in 1999-2000.

These Newsletters are copyrighted, but the copyright holders would like these materials to see the widest possible audience. You have our permission to copy these, but try to keep the original text as intact as possible.

Here is a master index of these article titles.

Almost all of these newsletters were also produced on audio cassette. Some of the early ones were read by the voices of DECtalk. In audio newsletter #17, there was a feature not found in the print (a 4 minute audio play). Click Here for this Special Presentation.
