Apple 2 Software for Braille Translation and Mathematics

Please be forgiving of this documentation. This is material saved from Apple 2 floppy 5 1/4 inch disks. These materials were written over a very long period of time, and the markup systems to indicate format kept changing. Only a limited amount of time could be spent working on these older materials. So there are many, many formatting glitches. Some original material has been lost. We could find only the braille copies of the TranscriBEX manual. What is here is a back translation.

One of the reasons for preserving this material is to demonstrate that there was a lot of interesting work done in the 1980's that deserves further study. It is amazing how difficult it is to find details on products that existed before the web and Google were invented. The BEX Interface Guide and the RDC Newsletters are a rich source of information about many of these early devices.
