Books: "ProDOS Manuals"

These manuals were released with the earliest versions of ProDOS for the Apple II series. It came with a reference for ProDOS itself (the rear book in the picture), and a supplement that dealt with specifics on ProDOS for the Apple IIe. The disk in the foreground is version 1.0 of the ProDOS User's Disk, containing the rudimentary programs for formatting ProDOS disks, copying files between ProDOS disks, etc. (FILER), and for moving programs and data between DOS 3.3 and ProDOS disks (CONVERT).
