In 1968, over 1000 pounds of uranium were experimented on at the C.G Sargent mill in an attempt to find a better
way of drying uranium. The current methods used were costly and inefficient. One document
said this work was done at a stone building at 70 Broadway. The current building at 70 Broadway
is not stone, so even the building where this happened may have been hauled away.
